Creativity has been part of my life for as long as I can remember.  From winning my first coloring contest at just three years old. By third grade, my teacher had asked me to create a chalk mural of folk-tale heroes stretching the entire sidewalk outside our third-grade hall.  Looking back, I guess I've always had a thing for turning big, blank spaces into something more interesting.

That creativity followed me into adulthood - from drawing caricatures for businesses raising money for charities, to creating custom artwork and murals, to decorating and staging homes and discovering how much the right colors, artwork, and decor can transform a space.

Life has also taken me outside the art world.  I'm a veteran, former flight attendant, and spent almost two decades holding every title in banking.  As a military family, we've lived in different places and living abroad, which has taught me to appreciate different people, cultures, perspectives, and the sacrifices of those who serve.  Those experiences shaped the professionalism, adaptability, and genuine care for people that I bring to Krystal Kanvas today.

And you don't have to know exactly what you want - that's where my creativity comes in.  Bring me a favorite photo, a memory, a blank wall, a room that needs new life, or simply the beginning of an idea.  I love finding the little details that make something personal and turning them into something uniquely yours.
